RESTORATIVE RETELLING FOR SUDDEN TRAUMATIC LOSS

Join a Group

Restorative Retelling (RR) is a structured group intervention developed to improve coping skills, integrate commemoration of the deceased, and approach traumatic memories. … As many as 30% of Americans have lost a loved one to a violent death – an accident, suicide, or homicide (Norris, 1992)

Having lost a loved on to gun violence when I was sixteen, I have spent a lifetime finding ways to help people heal from traumatic loss.  I am trained in Restorative Retelling from Virgina Mason in Seattle.  I work with survivors of violent crime.  Losing a loved one to traumatic loss is a different process to losing someone naturally.  Often there are traumatic memories, PTSD symptoms, flash backs and other symptoms that come from reliving the traumatic events of our loved ones traumatic death.  This can feel isolating and lonely.

Together we work through the details and events in a safe way to help you be able to process your loved ones loss and the grief and trauma that come along with their loss.  Schedule an appointment today to begin processing your traumatic loss.  Together we are stronger.
